I loved the design of these shorts especially the pockets. The legs are too short for MY taste. I like my short to reach my knee or extend below them. When I tried these on they felt & looked like the shorts Magic and Bird wore during their basketball days (my wife calls them "booty huggers"). It saddened me because they are well designed. I'll find another use for them possibly swim shorts or pajamas.That's my personal opinion, if you like the above the knee look then you'll probably like these shorts. My job has me sitting the majority of it's duration so these won't work for me in that sense. I'm still giving it 4 stars because my taste shouldn't discredit a well designed product.My husband is 6’ tall, 200 lbs, and I ordered his usual Large in these shorts. He says they feel too tight and look too short (especially when he sits down). They aren’t very stretchy, so definitely size up- these run small! I think they look good on him, but because they are uncomfortable and restrictive, they aren’t going to work.I got these for running. They are nice but the inseam is sewed a bit weird. It gets in the way when running. For example, it gets in the way when I push my knees up.I'm going to be on the safe side and say that I'm just bigger than what the 2x is according to these shorts, but either way they run fairly small. Given that, these are pretty awesome shorts.The color is really nice, a light lavender, the texture is that of swim trunks, except without the inner lining, and they seem very durable even when putting them on what they don't fit. Overall really love these shorts, just going to have to lose quite a bit of weight in order for them to fit and look the way I want, that may be no faults of the manufacturer though.4 stars out of 5Comfy short and good for exercise. All 3 pockets have zipper to keep things secure but a bit excessive. A bit short and small to the size.My husband wears a XL. Got a XL, and these are too small. Order size larger. Good length with pockets. Elastic waist. Nice everyday shorts.Nice airy fabric that doesn't have a 'plastic like' feel but still sheds water. All pockets are zippered and there is a fly around the zippers, they won't drag or catch on anything. I was able to carry my larger sized phone (Samsung A32) in one front pocket, a wad of keys in the other and a box knife in the back pocket - all while crouching and climbing around throughout our store! The elastic keeps these up just fine but just in case you fill the pockets, the flat (non-rolling) drawstring keeps them up on you hips where they belong. Recommended for anyone with an active lifestyle. The cut & fit is just right - no binding, no pinching and the material breathes so I stayed cool through it all. Almost got a medium size but glad I got the large. Go a size up and you'll appreciate the looser fit and ample inseam. The color is a bit lighter than pictured. Very comfortable and breathable. True to size , and held up just fine in the washing machine.
