I wanted some running shorts that looked good and some brighter color options. I chose these Wangdo shorts because they looked good in the pictures and didn't have overly aggressive logos. I don't mind buying an "off brand" item like this as long as it doesn't have some long brand name I can't pronounce on it or big logos that are in your face. These seemed to fit the bill for what I was looking for. When I got them though, I noticed a rather large black patch on the right side that says "HYPE" ...but why? That patch was not clearly displayed in the pics and it was very unwanted by me. That combined with the other logo was too much for me. When I looked back at the pictures on Amazon I was able to notice the patch. The pics I saw initially were of the black shorts but the patch is also black so it was tough to see. I thought about cutting the stitching for the patch but then I wondered why I would alter a brand new clothing article. I've decided I will just return them and I've ordered another brand.As for the shorts themselves, I can't speak to the performance as I didn't want to wear them, but they fit really well and look nice. The fit is a little tighter than most of my running shorts but that is what I wanted. They look good overall (minus the logos) though I'm not a huge fan of the "V-Notch" sides but if you like that style these would be a good choice for you.Overall nice shorts, fit as expected. I'm a 30" waist and trim legs, bought a small and they fit well, not baggy but not too tight either.Be advised though the liner is just that, basically a lining for the lighter colors so you don't get the see-thru effect. It's not a compression short that provides any support, not is it the kind of "liner" in running shorts or swimsuits that's designed to keep anything low hanging up and from going out the leg of your shorts. It is like wearing a pair of boxers under your shorts. I got the black/white combo pack and the lining on the white pair definitely helps with show thru but on the black pair it's kind of just another layer of fabric.Bottom line, they're very comfortable for lounging, walking, general activities but for running etc you might need a strap or briefs if you don't want a lot of movement. Then you're looking at 3 layers of fabric .... poached eggs?I’m 6’2” and 196 LB’s. I really like the size large shorts I ordered. The price is right and the 7” length is my favorite.However, I really wish they’d ditch the “HYPE” wording on them. It’s flat out corny and unneeded.If they get rid of that, I’d INSTANTLY buy EVERY SINGLE color of these shorts.I bought the black and white combo for these. They are excellent workout shorts. Very comfy and feel solid and generally premium. The big knock is that the draw string on the black pair frayed after only two washes. The string itself feels premium but that little end cap clearly isn't.I will be returning for a new pair.Edit: I've had these for a few weeks now. The draw string came out of a white pair after a wash. It took a few minutes but I threaded it back around.The white pair seems particularly apt to hold onto stains around the pockets. Tennis balls coming in and out of the pockets caused mild discoloration that an oxiclean bath couldn't entirely fix.Otherwise? Super comfy. Great out on the court. For the price, these are fantastic. I just wouldn't get the white ones again.Tldr:3 stars for white pairs because they discolor too easily.4 stars in general because string quality isn't great.Was pleasantly surprise to find these shorts fit. Amazon is notorious for outsource Chinese product lines due to low costs. Took the chance and was pleasantly surprised I did need to return these. They breathe adequately, come with a light liner and fit slightly snug as a 32 waist with larger than normal 26 inch thighs. Not spandex tight but definitely not board short or Basketball short loose. They stretch accordingly as well. Bang for buck for “ Gym” shorts….Pros: very comfy, stretchy, shows quads nicely on your leg days, big pockets - big enough for large phones, pockets have zippers which helps you to keep things secure.Cons: after few months of use I found that zippers on pockets are flimsy and stop working, they should definitely improve quality here.These shorts are worth the money and a good value. The only bad thing is the drawstring which slides so easily around your waste that it's easy to lose one end into the inside the sown drawstring space. I know, first world problem, but it's often difficult to feed the end back out again.These shorts fit great and are very comfortable.
